new year's cheer
This is one of my more curious facets. The depression I feel during Christmas is all of a sudden turned 180° as I feel absolutely euphoric during the New Year's celebrations. This is mainly because of the firecrackers that so characterize the Philippine New Year, and if the cursed Department of Health succeeds in its total ban campaign MARK MY WORDS I WILL LEAVE THE PHILIPPINES TO ITS MISERABLE FATE.
People usually have the New Year's Resolutions and watchamacallit. See I don't have those, because these things almost always never get followed. Though I do have some wishes for the following year.
- The continued good health and safety of family and friends.
- Continued good fortunes in the academic field.
- Continued hegemony in Netopia EGI Taft.
- For the coming Metallica album to be epic.
- For Devil May Cry 4 to be epic.
- To finally find her. (isang beses lang ako swertehin ISANG BESES LANG haha)
Well, bring it on 2008, I've been around the last 19 years, I think I can take you on no problem.
